Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts (IRCA)<\/em><\/strong><\/h1>\n

Prevention of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (Drugs), a scheme under Ministry of Social Justice and empowerment, Government of India (IRCA).<\/p>\n

The Organization has been implementing the project since 1990, reaching out and impacting thousands of Alcoholics and Drug Addicts for last 30 years.<\/p>\n

Project office: Mursi Village, Dhansiripar Block, Dimapur: Nagaland<\/p>\n

TREATMENT PLAN<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Detoxification 5 \u2013 10 days<\/li>\n
  • Residential Rehabilitation (Minimum 3 months)<\/li>\n
  • Counselling<\/li>\n
  • Educational sessions<\/li>\n
  • Spiritual therapy<\/li>\n
  • Peer group session<\/li>\n
  • NA & AA fellowship<\/li>\n
  • Sports and recreation<\/li>\n
  • Networking and Linkages<\/li>\n
  • Vocational Training<\/li>\n
  • Annual sports meet<\/li>\n
  • Workshop and seminars<\/li>\n
  • Observation of significant days<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Child Care Institution (CCI)<\/em><\/strong><\/h1>\n

    Supported by Ministry of Women & Child Development under \u201cIntegrated Child Protection Scheme\u201d since 2018.<\/p>\n

    It is a 25 bedded care home for children (girls) in need of care and protection.<\/p>\n

    SERVICES<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u2022 Provide education, skill development, counseling, behavior modification therapy, and psychiatric support during the period of stay.
    \n\u2022 Formulate Individual Care Plan for each child based on understanding the child\u2018s background.
    \n\u2022 Preparing the child for reintegration into the family and community.<\/p>\n

    HIV Prevention Projects<\/em><\/strong><\/h1>\n

    Funded by National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) through Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS).<\/p>\n

    I. Targeted Intervention (TI) among High Risk Women:<\/strong>
    \nProject Goal<\/strong>: Reduce and Prevent the Transmission of HIV
    \nActivities<\/strong>: Sensitize & educate on HIV\/AIDS & related issues
    \nEnsuring safer sexual behavior
    \nEnsuring STI treatment
    \nUtilizing the available services\/Avenues through networking, Referral & Follow ups
    \nConduct Events with their active participation<\/p>\n

    II. Targeted Intervention (TI) among High risk migrant workers<\/strong>
    \nProject Goal<\/strong>: Reduce and Prevent the Transmission of HIV among MW
    \nActivities<\/strong>: Sensitize & educate MW on HIV\/AIDS & related issues by fully utilizing the Available services through networking, referral & follow ups, Conduct Events such street theaters and Target group congregation<\/p>\n

    Adopt-a-grandparent Programme<\/em><\/strong><\/h1>\n

    Funded by Help Age India since 2007<\/p>\n

    \n\u2022 Support 50 parents who do not access any kind of support from Government or NGOs
    \n\u2022 Monthly Distribution of Nutritional packages and basic needs

    \n\u2022 Community Sensitization
    \n\u2022 Networking with Government
